Kai Pacifico Eng is a Filipino/Chinese-American filmmaker and Emmy-winning animator specializing in sound, editing, and motion design. Born and raised in Seattle, WA, Kai found a passion for moving images at an early age, growing up surrounded by their father's broadcast equipment and engrossed in homemade stop-motion films.
Kai's work has screened in festivals both domestic and abroad, including Portland Horror and the International Vampire Film Arts Festival in London. Their work has also been screened as part of critical race curriculum in the Bellevue School District.
Kai's portfolio includes work for Nike, Volvo, IMZ-URAL, Society Nine, Brown Bear, ACL Global Project, the University of Washington, PSU.tv, and TEDx.
